Props list

In order to create the advert we need prop. We need to include the technical things. So in order for us to have a successful filming trip in London we needed to take along the tripod and bipod. These allowed for us to have steady shots that looked fairly professional.  We also needed the cameras, and spare batteries so that we were fully prepared in case of the battered going flat.

Home Advert
Christmas tree and decorations
Phone for camera
Christmas presents
Wrapping paper, sellotape
Cooking equipment

These props were used in the home advert for the couple to use. They are all activities that the audience would relate to Christmas for example decorating the Christmas tree, making Christmas food and wrapping presents. The phones needed because in the advert the mum takes a photo of them. All of the props are products that the department store will sell so it is subtle advertisement.
Risk: There are no risks.

Fashion Advert
Fake snow: We used this as Christmas weather is associated with snow. We used it in the scene with young children because snow is fun and exciting. Also when children wake up and see snow they want to play in it so we thought using the snow with the children was appropriate.

Feathers and pillows: We used these in the scene with girls in pajamas so they could have a pillow fight. The feathers made the scene look more realistic and helped the models to get involved and have fun.

Confetti cannons: We used the confetti in the scene with the young men as it is sophisticated which is appropriate as they were advertising smart suits.

Fan: We used a large fan because it was powerful so it blew all the feathers, snow and confetti around the shot. From our tests, using this fan made the videos look better and more professional.
Costumes: For each scene we needed our models to wear different outfits. Firstly the young boys wore Christmas jumpers, the girls wore pyjamas and the young men wore smart suits. Each scene represents a different department of our store so we had to show this through what they wore.
Mistletoe: We used this in the scene with the couple, it is known at Christmas time for kissing when people walk under it.
Risk: Catching hair in the fan.
To overcome this risk ensured that anyone using the fan must have long hair tied up and loose clothing secured.

Web-pop up-
Coats and winter clothing: Our models had to wear coats as this is what this advert is advertising because warm clothing is a necessity at Christmas.

Risk: There were no risks.

Sponsorship sequence-

Juggling balls
Pack of cards
 Rubix cube
Guitar
As our sponsorship sequence is sponsoring a talent show, in each scene the models are showing different talents and activities. This made it easier to film because the models were enjoying what they were doing so this shows in the videos. This would make people want to buy things from our store because they would want to be happy which is portrayed though our adverts.

Risk: Making sure when the models were juggling that they were careful not to hit any of the equipment which could cause to any damage.
