Plot Synopsis
Home Advert
This advert will
start by showing a boy traveling with a gift, and walking along the street towards
his crushes house and ringing the doorbell and leaves the gift at the girls doorstep and
run away. Meanwhile, the phone is shown texting about the boy to her friend. Following
the girl hears the doorbell, opens the door to see no one is there and sees the
gift left wondering who from. Then the0re is a flash-forward of the girl and boy
being together the following Christmas, doing festive Christmas activities
together.
This advert will show different groups of people for example in winter wear, young men in suits/work wear and also young children in christmas jumpers. This is a way of reaching out wide target audience and also advertising a range of products. will 0
Fashion advert
This advert will show different groups of people for example girls in pyjamas, a couple in winter wear, young men in smart, work wear and also young children in Christmas jumpers. This is a way of reaching our wide target range and also advertising a range of products. This will be set in a photography studio in order to get the look we want.

Web Pop-up Mock-up - Feedback
Above is the mock version of our web pop up. As previously mentioned i will be taking the lead with regards to the web pop up, and Emily will assist me an as it an mock-up, I used Emily as the model as she was easy availability. To shoot this i used a Cannon 1100D. I took a few still images with different positions that my model posed and then put them together if the GIF maker. I added in the writing to show what the product is being sold and also the sale will attract the audience. But for now i knew that i needed to get to grips with how to put all of the images into the software used.
This is the lay out of the making the mock -up i used this web site to make the web-pop up but it was complex so im going to use a different one next time
Above is a
feedback video from our some of our target. We have decided to take up some of
the ideas that clearly came across in the feedback, they are as follows:
- To use
different ranges of ages, genders, ethnicities and sizes, helping to make our
clothing more attractive to a wider range of people.
- To
include different ethnicity's and both male and female, to help cater for a
wider audience.
To
have less static positioned models, making the Gif look more fun and unique.
We used sophisticated text match our high end product which me and Emily thought was suitable. I thought it was really important to test this version with an audience as it is planning to be in our final piece.
Positive:
1. The different colour backgrounds makes it fun and stand out and they are not too bright that it distracts from the product.
2. The layout is good and laid out well and clear to see
3. The different angels and positions is good and makes it not boring.
Improvements:
1. Need different ranges of models to appeal to a range of people
2. The white font is hard to read, need to be clearly visible
3. Not sure who the brand is? and where you can buy
I will take the feedback on board when creating my final piece and listen to what we should improve and keep the positive points to make it better.
Health and Safety
When filming we
had to think about if there was any health and safety risk for our models and ourselves.
We had to think about how the props we were using such as the fan could cause
hair. The fan was heavy in weight therefore when putting it together; it took
two of us to put it up. We had to make sure that we didn’t drop it as it could
injury us; therefore we had to make sure we were holding onto the handles securely
and had a good grip also. We also had make sure that no ones hair got caught in
the fan, so make sure our hair was tied back when turning it on and assembling
it.
When shooting the confetti canon we had to tell the models to make sure
they popped it away from their face and away from anyone else’s and make sure
it was arm length away from them when they did, so they did not cause harm as
if they popped it in someone’s it could seriously hurt their eyes/face.
Also during the pillow fight, we had to make sure that the girls did not hit each other to hard to cause harm and that the feathers did not get into their eyes. So we showed them how to to look like they were hitting each other hard but not to hurt the other person

CHANGES
CHANGES: We changed our mind on the location for filming the first section in London, after feedback we saw that it was not suitable and we found when going to London difficult to film because of the surroundings and also the time it took to get into London and get our models there, so therefore we decided to change the whole story line completely and come up with a whole new plan where it will be easier to film and get models to come and film for us.
